Client: P.W. Elverum and Sun
Phil Elverum runs his music label out of his house in Anacortes, WA. He’s released many fine records, including “Welcome Nowhere” by Thanksgiving and a ton of Mt. Eerie records such as “No Flashlight” and “11 Old Songs.” From PW’s website:
Egon: “What did you say your name was?”
Louis: “Vinz Clortho, Keymaster of Gozer”
Janine: “According to this, his name’s Louis Tully. Lives on Central Park West. Do you want some coffee Mr. Tully?”
Louis: “Do I?”
Egon: “Yes, have some.”
Louis: “Yes, have some.”
Egon: “Vinz, you said before you were waiting for a sign. What sign are you waiting for?”
Louis: “Gozer the Traveler. He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldronaii the Traveler came as a large moving Torb. Then, during the thrid reconciliation of the last of the Meketrex Supplicants they chose a new form for him, that of a giant Sloar! Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you.”
Work:
In close collaboration with Phil Elverum, we’ve put together the largest vinyl LP insert ever (for the album “No Flashlight), scanned various pieces for intricate album covers, developed a simple but useful website, sewed hundreds of record covers, and played live shows as his backing band, “Crazy House.” PW is one heck of a worker, musician, and friend.
